In line with current confinement rules, which extend to at least 11th May, and to comply with the rule that any large gatherings remain forbidden until at least mid-July, we are very sorry but there will be no further Drop-In Days before our usual summer break months of July and August.

We hope that we can start afresh in September with a new season of Drop-In Days. We shall of course update this page nearer the time.

Drop-In Days

Visit us at one of our monthly Drop-In days where you will find a range of activities and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Drop-In days were set up specifically for people affected by cancer, whether as a patient,  caring for someone with cancer, or having lost a partner or close one from cancer.

Their aim is to provide a safe haven where one can come and relax in a friendly atmosphere, take advantage of the therapies and activities on offer, chat with one of our trained supporters, and enjoy refreshments and a light lunch.

There is no need to let us know in advance if you wish to come, though if you wish to have one of the therapies on offer, a prior request is advisable to ensure your preferred time-slot, by emailing Alison Kane on alison.csflanguedoc@gmail.com.

If you would like more information on Drop-In days or are not sure whether you should  join us please contact Alison.

Trained active listeners are always available  to offer support to new and existing clients.

We hold Drop-In days on the last Thursday of the month,  except July, August and December, at:

  • Hameau Montplaisir, Route de Saint Pons, 34500 BEZIERS

More information about Hameau Montplaisir is available on their website.

Please check our calendar for dates.

Information about activities at the next drop in day is posted in the News and Events section on our home page approximately two weeks before the event.

Food safety

As a registered charity, CSF has to abide by certain conditions and we are also aware of the restrictive dietary requirements of some of our visitors.

We therefore ask that no-one brings food to share unless they have been specifically asked to do so by a member of the kitchen team, who will give advice on the use of ingredients and preparation.

We are always grateful for the generosity of our members, but we hope you understand that we have to keep to food safety legislation.
