The theme for this year is “United by Unique”\, emphasising the importance of person-centered care\, which is at the heart of Cancer Support France – Languedoc’s approach. \n“A people-centred approach to cancer care that fully integrates each individual’s unique needs leads to better health outcomes. Every experience with cancer is unique and it will take all of us\, united\, to create a world where we look beyond the disease and see the person before the patient. A world where the needs of people and communities are at the centre of health systems.” (Union for International Cancer Control 2025) \nClick here to book your place –  \n\nwith lunch = 17 €\nwithout lunch = FREE\n\nLunch \nIt promises to be another day of sharing\, with a nutritious light three-course Mediterranean lunch from Ken & Alison’s Catering served from 12.30 pm. \nAGM 2:00 pm \nThe AGM and Members’ meeting from 2pm – 3pm\, will be followed by a presentation from Josephine Dolan-Dufourd\, occupational therapist at 3pm on “The importance of being considered a person rather than a patient: techniques for reducing stress when this isn’t the case”. \nWe will be introducing a variety of information on cancer prevention and treatment. Trained volunteers from Cancer Support France – Languedoc will be available to answer any queries.
