Support for the Supporters

Every other Tuesday at 10.30am in Roujan, we run a group for anyone who has supported or is supporting someone with cancer — no matter if it is recent or in the past. It’s straightforward, honest, and created in mind for those  who’ve a lot to carry and need to offload for themselves.

Think of it as a place to put things down for an hour or two. A safe space where you don’t have to explain the backstory. You show up when you can. No fuss, no pressure.

What this group offers:

• real connection instead of going it alone in France
• practical ways to cope, shared by people who’ve been there
• a sense of community that makes things feel lighter
• space to regain a bit more confidence and control

Sessions are confidential and professionally facilitated.

As this is provided by Cancer Support France-Languedoc, donations help with the professional costs but are never a barrier.
