Good News (Hopefully)!

After many months of no activity or events during COVID-19 lockdown, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  We, at CSF Sud de France, have started planning for a number of events and activities across the Aude & Ariège to re-start in September and October.

We’re expecting that most of our regular activities will start again in September, but will likely to be restricted or slightly different, in order to comply with government regulations, and to ensure the safety of our members, volunteers, and supporters.

We will publish more details on each event, in the form of a detailed ‘protocol’, as we get closer to the date of the event, so that you will know, in advance, how the event will operate, so that there are no surprises on the day.  You can see more information below and on our Facebook page, or in LFN’s Events Calendar.

Of course, these plans are conditional upon their being no increased government restrictions on activities in our area as a result of COVID-19, so there will always be a risk of last-minute cancellation.  Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest information –  https://www.facebook.com/CSF.SudFrance/.

We look forward to welcoming you to a CSF event soon.

August 2020 Newsletter is here

Welcome to August’s issue of our newsletter. This month we bring you details of a couple of events to look forward to, one of which is a Virtual Vernissage of Kath Orsman’s beautiful embroidered pictures, planned for the autumn. There is an opportunity to commission a unique and original piece of art, perhaps from a picture of a beloved pet or country scene.

And this coming Saturday, why not visit Thezan les Beziers for the La Ligue sale – held in the open air on 1st August.

There’s also a reminder about this year’s Walks for Life and how to register, and the usual page of “What’s New in Cancer Research”.
